Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit and improve your experience. Some cookies are essential for the website to function; others are optional and used for analytics or preferences.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not store any personally identifiable information.

  • PHPSESSID — A standard PHP session cookie used to maintain your session and enable CSRF form protection. It is deleted when you close your browser. No personal data is stored in this cookie.
  • c3dp_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted or rejected) for 365 days so we do not show the consent banner on every visit.

Analytics cookies (optional — only set if you accept)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people find useful. Google Analytics is not loaded at all unless you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no Google script is requested, no analytics cookies are set, and no data reaches Google. Declining does not affect any part of the site.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

  • _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_Z672SNX1TC — used by Google Analytics 4 to maintain session state. Expires after 2 years.

Google Analytics is configured with Consent Mode v2. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all set to “denied” and are never enabled. We do not run advertising, remarketing or profiling of any kind. Data is processed by Google; see Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing the c3dp_cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Third-party cookies

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies or collect data as part of their font delivery service. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details. We are in the process of self-hosting fonts to eliminate this dependency.

How to manage cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. The following links explain how to do this in the most common browsers:

Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use our contact and quote forms (CSRF protection relies on the session cookie).

Your cookie preferences

When you first visit the site, a cookie consent banner will appear. You can accept or decline optional cookies. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
